An international mining company is looking for an Accountant in Almaty.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accounting records and ensure accurate financial accounting;
• Prepare tax and statistical reports;
• Schedule and process payments;
• Prepare financial reports;
• Support budget management and reporting;
• Participate in year-end audits and licence-related audits;
• Work with 1C accounting system;
• Handle day-to-day accounting matters independently;
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on accounting and reporting matters.

Requirements:

• Higher education in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field;
• 3–5+ years of relevant accounting experience;
• Strong knowledge of accounting and tax requirements;
• Practical experience in tax and statistical reporting;
• Advanced level of English;
• Experience with budgeting and financial reporting;
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
