Results of the survey “Benefits and additional motivators for staff” in Kazakhstan

Antal Kazakhstan together with Benefactory conducted a survey on benefits in companies in Kazakhstan. The survey was conducted in the form of an online survey from 19 April to 12 May 2023. 73 companies operating in Kazakhstan participated in the survey.

Key facts of the survey:

• 50% of employers review the content of the company’s employee benefits package annually;
• In 48% of cases employees receive benefits from the first day of employment, in 40% of cases only after their probationary period;
• 34% of companies increased their budget for benefits in the last year, in 58% of companies it remained at the level of 2022;
• Only 3% of companies in Kazakhstan have “flexible benefits \ “cafeteria benefits” – i.e. the ability for an employee to choose which benefits will be included in their compensation package;
• 37% of companies are planning to introduce ‘flexi-benefits’ for their employees.
